Bülow's Monument

Bülow's Square (Bülows Plads)

Date of  placement:
6th of July, 1859. The Triumphal Arch was added in 1880. 

Desciption and background:
The Monument consists of a bronze bust on a high granite pedestal and is raised because of General F.R.H. Bulow who planned and carried through the sortie from Fredericia on the 6th of July 1849. Bulow wears a draping and a sword belt across from his right shoulder.
